Ensure you have all your materials ready before you begin. Gather your DTF transfer, heat press or home iron, garment or fabric, and a Teflon sheet or parchment paper for protection
Heat your heat press to the recommended temperature range of 290-300 degrees Fahrenheit. If using a home iron, adjust the setting to either cotton or the highest temperature available.
Lay your garment flat on the pressing surface. If you're working with multiple designs on a single GangSheet, carefully cut them apart using scissors. Next, position your DTF transfer onto the fabric, ensuring the printed side is facing downward, and place it where you want the design to appear.
Pressing Time:Cover the transfer with a Teflon sheet or parchment paper to protect it and ensure even heat distribution. Close the heat press and press for 15 to 20 seconds. If using a home iron, firmly press down for about 2 minutes.
Peel off the transfer:After pressing, open the heat press or remove the iron and wait for a brief moment. Begin peeling off the transfer paper from one corner while it's still warm but not excessively hot.
Check Adhesion and Allow to Cool:Check if the design has adhered well to the fabric. If necessary, apply additional pressure and heat for a few more seconds. Allow the fabric to cool completely before handling or washing. These step-by-step instructions will guide you through the process of applying your DTF transfer to your garment or fabric effectively.
